NOTES and TIPS:
Always experiment to get just the right amount of each ingredient to suit your taste. Every cook's salsa tastes a little different, and that's part of the fun. |

STEP #1
Ingredients: avocado, garlic, cilantro, and chili serrano (or chili jalapeno).
Wash the chilies and the cilantro well. |
STEP #2
Cut a quarter wedge from the avocado. Drop it in the blender. |
STEP #3
Add the garlic. |
STEP #4
Break any stems off the chili and drop it in the blender. |
STEP #5
Add the cilantro.
Some cooks like to break the cilantro up a little bit, but the blender doesn't really care. |
STEP #6
Add water to the level shown.
Avacado salsa is a thick and creamy salsa, and so be sure not to add too much water. |
STEP #7
Salt to taste. About a half teaspoon is plenty. |
STEP #8
Blend the ingredients until everything is cut up and you've got a creamy mix.
Pour it out, and it's ready to use. |
